Part 1 Criterion B
1. Develop a design specification
Help the dog get to the penguin using the arrow keys without touching the red walls and make sure to get to the penguin within the time limit (20 seconds)
- What software/ programming language will you use?
- Scratch coding
- Who will be your intended audience?
- All the audience can play but mainly for younger kids.
- What format will your project take?
- Scratch program
- A simple maze game

Part 2 Criterion C
1, Demonstrate technical skills
- Story board: Storyboard
- Final product: Dog Penguin Maze
- How are things going?
- My game is pretty simple so everything is going alright for now except for the 20seconds timer. I might have to search how to set up a timer later on google.
- Are you taking the same step?
- I am taking the same steps as I planned out (storyboard) but it is taking longer that what I have planned. I thought that it would take me about 15 minutes to make the whole thing. However it took me about 10 minutes to draw the maze on the background so it took about 30 minutes in overall in creating this game.
- How long are things taking?
- It took me long time to figure out how to make a timer works because I thought that I had to use 'timer' block in 'sensing' category but I couldn't figure out how to stop the timer in 20sec so I searched on internet how to set up a timer and I realized that I have to make a new variable. I named the variable 'time'. So overall, it took me long to figure out
- Is the game working out the way you initially thought it would?
- Yes, it is working out the way I initially thought it would. I tried to make a simple maze game so that every one can play easily. However, I might want to add more levels after the first one. I might shorten the time or keep the 20 seconds limit the same and change the maze background harder or add obstacles.
